What is the difference between building a house for someone (with Habitat for Humanity) and serving a senior a snack at their Residence home? Which activity does the most 'service' and why...
I think that building a home for someone could be worth as much to someone else for providing them with a snack. It just depends on their situation and how grateful they are. Doing a small deed could be very amazing for someone, Yet doing a big one could have no effect on others.
i think the difference between building a house for someone and serving a senior a snack is that building a house gives someone a home, in which giving a seinor a snack just gives them a snack. i think building a house does more service.
I think no matter what volennteering you are doing it affects people to know that you are trying to help make their life easier, becuase you care. Whether your helping build a house, or giving out snacks, though the long term impact may be different, for someone to know that there are people in this world to help you with the things you cannot do on your own, is wonderful.
Building a house for someone does more "service" than serving a snack for a senior does. Think about it, what would be more life-threatening or important in your life? Having a house or getting to eat a snack? The two things are both volunteer jobs that help to ease the life/lives of others, but building a house is definitely going to a greater cause and a longer length than serving out snacks.
